Test, Test, Test
The key to success for any new system is how well it is implemented. That is why the Dexterity WMS delivery and implementation team will go that extra mile to jointly design and manage the implementation and training schedule that's right for your business and more importantly your staff.
Working closely with your Warehouse and IT teams, our Dexterity WMS team will install the software on your chosen hardware and infrastructure and configure the wireless environment including the handheld scanning terminals and barcode label printers and perform connectivity testing to ensure all the system elements are fully functional and provide the platform for a successful and robust warehouse management system solution.
Where Dexterity WMS needs to integrate or link to your back end ERP software, we have a wealth of experience and various methods to achieve this using our in-built integration tools which support anything from simple file exchange to tightly integrated API's. Dexterity WMS Systems have been successfully implemented with Sage, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and many in-house customer developed systems.
Often overlooked as a minor part of the overall project, user training is essential to a successful project. Not only does it provide your staff with the knowledge to be able to drive the system, it also ensures that staff and individuals "buy in" to the project vision and take responsibility for their particular role, be it management, goods in, fulfillment, delivery, customer services, etc. All your staff on board, fully trained, committed and positive, is the key to success.
