Trux mobile computers are a range of rugged PCs with wireless connections for mobile trucks and other professional vehicles. The Trux range has been custom-designed to survive in the rough and tumble of all types of transport environments. At first glance Trux PC terminals look like ordinary PCs, and they are.. when it comes to looks, capacity and user friendliness. But that’s where the similarities end! Designed originally for the forklift truck, Trux computers are now found in all manor of vehicles, from public transport and emergency services, to forestry or frozen delivery vehicles. If you need a full computer or a large screen in any type of tough environment, Trux will survive it.
Trux 800 - 10" Mobile Computer
The Trux 800 Triton mobile computer for mobile vehicles is based on the highly successful Trux 700 design, but this new computer is the most powerful computer in the Trux product range when it comes to performance and functionality. The major difference however is the size - the Tx800 has a 10.4" screen, allowing the computers to be installed easily into the cab of a vehicle, bus or emergency services transport.
Powerful and Robust
The Tx800 is the most powerful computer in the Trux product range when it comes to performance and functionality. It is equipped with a powerful energy-efficient intel processor, a high-brightness screen, many connection possibilities and is capable of handling tough treatment in challenging environments.
Designed for challenging environments
The unit has a shock-resistant magnesium case and sturdy internal components classified for industrial use enabling it to withstand long-term rough treatment in industrial environments. Extra reinforcement is built into the card and screen holders, cabling, connection ports and mounting brackets. The computers are rigorously tested both in the laboratory and real industrial environments to ensure that they tolerate dampness, extreme heat and cold, bumps, shocks and vibration.
Reliable and safe
The Tx800 comes with battery back-up and a power-saving function built into the accompanying Trux Computer Manager. The software can also sense power-supply dips and can, for example, reduce the screen's brightness and shut down the computer after a specified length of time so user data will not be lost. The screen can automatically blacked out when the vehicle is moving to prevent the operator from being distracted. The Tx800 is protected against damage from lightning, power surges and similar accidents through its external power converter.
